Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples has been an American performer and actor for more than 20 years. She was best known for her role as Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) as well as Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). She also played the main character Jerrica Jem Betnton on the film Jem and the Holograms (2005). Aubrey Peeples, the child of Wendy Peeples and Ashley Peeples, grew up in Lake Mary Florida. The younger sister of her is Ally. Aubrey was a part-time performer for ten years in the Orlando Repertory Theatre. Aubrey graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was the valedictory speaker for the class of 2012. Harvard University accepted her but was able to enter twice the second time to accept the role she played in Nashville. Peeples starred as a guest in the film Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2012) Grey's Anatomy (2005). The actress appeared on TV in Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective 2009 and The Good Mother. She was a part of the cast for a major recurring role in an episode of the show drama Nashville where she played Layla Grant. Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder during an interview in 2019 in NKD Magazine. Indiewire has ranked Peeples at the top of its list of best actors under the age of twenty-one in September 2014.
