DMX started rapping around the latter part of the 1990s. He released his debut The album It's Hot and Hell is DARK on May 19,98. Through the years, he's released several albums, such as...And then there was X and the Great Depression year of the Dog...Again Redemption of the Beast and Flesh of my Flesh. His album titled ... and Then There Was X was also nominated to win a Grammy in the Best Rap Album category in 2001. His musical career was complemented by his appearances in such films such as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five - Exit Wounded, Never Die Alone - The Bleeding Romeo MUST Die Backstage Beyond the Law Lockjaw - Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
